zoey the giant

i apologize it's been so long since i've posted anything but i promise to deliver on this post! :) zoey has gotten HUGE in the past week as you'll see in her latest pictures. she got to meet her 2nd grandma yesterday (and 3rd because we have to count sharon the neighbor too) and she just loved it! they have a mini jungle next to the pool like at my parents and she entertained herself with all the plants all night long! she even found some apples to play with and of course tried to dig up the dirt in the landscaping and even found time to flatten her plants. :( sorry about that!

the pictures right above are on the back porch in her favorite pool -- even with no water she LOVES to just get in it and run in circles until she wears herself out. it's great entertainment for her and us because we can get things done while she plays :) sooner rather than later she'll be too big to fit in the pool :(

the pictures below are zoey on her first long car ride -- eric and i were driving around checking out some houses in the area and we decided to take her with us. she did pretty well but i have my doubts for our longer car ride in october when we venture the 2 hour drive to aunt vicki's house. should be pretty interesting to see if she can make it the whole time. she wasn't really interested in checking out anything outside..she was content sitting in my lap giving me puppy kisses and then for the 2nd half of the trip she had the back seat to herself. i eventually put my seat all the way back and laid down with her because she got a little bored. didn't find a house but we did come home with an adorable sleepy pup who quickly fell asleep on the same pillow as eric (right). i couldnt resist snapping a picture -- sorry eric :)




these last pictures below are from erics mom's house...zoey discovered that she could stick her head out the window when it was open so she was taking full advantage of that. it reminded me of "baaaaat dog!" from some movie and i desperately wanted to be in another car snapping a picture of her ear flopping cuteness. :) eat your hearts out :) i hope ur enjoying her pictures as much as i'm enjoying taking them
